One of the first things that struck me about Leesburg was the beautiful Lake Harris. This lake is one of the largest in the area and is surrounded by beautiful parks and walking trails. I took a leisurely stroll along the waterfront and was amazed by the stunning views. The lake also offers fishing and boating opportunities for those who enjoy water activities.

Another must-see attraction in Leesburg is the Venetian Gardens. These gardens are a beautiful oasis in the middle of town. They have a huge variety of plants and flowers, as well as fountains and statues. The gardens also offer a boat tour of the lake, which is a great way to see the area from a different perspective.

For history buffs, the Leesburg Heritage Museum is a must-visit. This museum has exhibits on the history of the town and the surrounding area. I learned a lot about the Native American tribes that once inhabited the area and the impact of the citrus industry on the town.

Food is also a big part of any trip, and Leesburg did not disappoint. I tried some of the best Southern food I have ever had at Mom & Dad’s Italian Restaurant. This restaurant is a local favorite and serves up delicious Italian classics like pizza and pasta.

Overall, Leesburg, FL is a charming town with so much to offer. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a history buff, or a foodie, there is something for everyone in Leesburg.
