Another must-see attraction in Charlottesville is the Downtown Mall. This pedestrian mall is a hub of activity with shops, restaurants, and theaters. I spent hours wandering the streets, admiring the beautiful architecture and browsing the shops. The mall also hosts a farmer’s market on Saturdays, which is a great place to sample local produce.

Food is also a big part of any trip, and Charlottesville did not disappoint. I tried some of the best Southern food I have ever had at The Local. This restaurant is a local favorite and serves up delicious farm-to-table cuisine.
